Amanda Bossard net worth
The year 1992 was when Amanda Bossard began her studies in marine biology in Anchorage at Alaska Pacific University. Bossard started her commercial seafood career in 1999, after she was hired on board the ship F/V Sunset. This 65' schooner, which was transformed into the role of a salmon tender is operated by Murat Aritan. He has been a commercial fisherman since 1993. Bossard has been married to Aritan and they have united to make their rights to the industry. The two are proponents of preserving sustainable and renewable marine resources. Otolith opened its direct market wholesale distributorship in Philadelphia after Bossard came back from her home at home with her daughters, Bella 3 years old and Andre 1year old, and Andre 1, to Philadelphia. The name Otolith is an affectionate reference to Bossard's extensive understanding of the biology of fish and her husband's extensive connections in the industry of seafood. They are often separated for up to 5 months each time they work towards financial and environmental goals that show their determination and independence wherever they live. In July 2016, Bossard and her daughter Isabella age 12 and son Andre age 10 return to Southeast Alaska annually each summer to work as deckhands throughout the summer wild salmon harvest. Hooks and lines are employed to collect their fish, and then join Aritan to market their products to local processors for two months. Then they continue to grow their direct seafood market through Otolith Sustainable Seafood. Amanda Bossard works as an Anchor/MMJ at News 12 Brooklyn and News 12 Bronx. She is with the station since November 2015. She is passionate for telling the stories of the individuals and communities she is a part of.
